The product is the diff

Anyone can save a copy of a web page. Almost nothing systematically records how a government’s web presence changes — when guidance is quietly rewritten, when a program page disappears, when eligibility language shifts without a formal rulemaking.

Those changes are public records in every meaningful sense, and they are routinely lost. There is no notice, no version history, and no archive of the informal layer where most of it happens. Bill trackers cover the formal artifacts: statutes, rules, dockets. This covers what an agency actually told the public on a Tuesday, and what it told them on Thursday.

How it works

Florida state, county, municipal, court, and school district sources are checked on a recurring schedule. Each visit renders the page and compares it against the previous visit. Most visits end there — a snapshot is only stored when something actually changed.

Status

The archive is building its baseline. Collection is running; the public change feed, per-source timelines, and full-text search are not published yet. This page will carry them when they are ready rather than before.
